Cristobal Junta

"Cristobal Junta" is a band from Moldova, consisting of musicians with many years of musical experience in different genres. The new lineup was formed in 2024. Style – indie-folk-rock. Acoustic guitar, bass, percussion-drums, flute, violin, vocals. The band is currently recording the album 'Desolated God.' Kristo Baly is a composer, singer, and songwriter who works in genres from Ambient, Lounge, and Jazz to Indie, Dramatic, World, Ethnic, and many more. Since 2004, he has collaborated with a wide variety of media. His music has been used in numerous TV series, Movies, soundtracks, and stage productions in the US, and in advertising for Santander Bank and others. Juan Ta - bass guitar, lyrics. Participated in numerous musical projects from folk to alternative rock. Poet, prose writer, screenwriter. Author of scripts for many conceptual video clips and art-house films. Actor. Starred in several art-house films, which received main prizes at international art-house film festivals. Participant in the audiovisual poetic musical performance under the general title "Poetics". Different genre inclusions are combined, from painting to theater of the absurd, but the poetic component and wordplay bear the main load.
Ruslan Chotu - drums, percussion. A musician with an academic background, specializing as a symphony orchestra artist and brass band conductor. Additionally, active as a performer in rock, jazz, and folk music.	Dmitry Burdenko - flute. Backing vocals. Also plays keyboards, cello, ukulele, and domra. Member of several folk groups performing Celtic and Balkan music. Children's flute teacher. Member of the medieval music group in the reconstruction club. The club actively represents itself at reconstruction festivals in Europe. Deeply passionate about his own project, which is aimed at creating experimental electronic music using retro modular synthesizers.
Alexander Obydennik - violin. Also plays bass guitar, and piano. Participant in many different genre projects. Uses his playing as an electric stripper, connected through a guitar processor, experimenting with sound. He also developed a music therapy program for children with disabilities (autists).

Cristobal Junta's real name remains an object of a mystery. His real age, ethnic origin, and social background are unknown. C.J. was a very remarkable and talented magician,his name has become a symbol of high expertise, skills, and dedication. Meanwhile, the magicians personality is not that simple. It combines cold head and hot blood, a painful and strong sense of self-worth and honor. He was very fond of solving insoluble problems, while strongly believing that addressing soluble ones is needless, he collected dreams. From his magical powers, he perfectly mastered transgression, including vertical transgression, i.e. fixing the phenomenon of crossing an impassable threshold, first of all- the boundary between the possible and the impossible. He studied the meaning of life and obtained interesting results, proving, for example, in theory, that death is by no means an indispensable attribute of life. Behind his guise is a group of creative like-minded individuals that create things beyond boundaries and formats,who share a love for music and are literally in tune. But what motivates us is the passion inside, which molded into music combined with poetry.
